Bars arrived a week earlier than promised I read the Edmunds review of installing OEM roof bars and these install identically. I put them on my 2013 Honda CRV. Here are the steps:

I purchased thsi one because the discription said it was for my 98 4Runner. This is for a flat surface not on a curved finder like the 4runner. I will have to make something for it to sit on. I wanted this to be an easier change out.

I ordered the trail everything was good, they even gave me a $25 gift certificate which I can ONLY used to buy more make up nothing else....on top of that I was told I have to pay to return and ship it and I wont even get back all my money I paid for a stupid trail. To top it all off that 3 drops of make for one face ain't 3 drops.... I had to use about 10- 12 drops to finish my whole damn face...... My advice don't waste your time I wish I had read the reviews first before I wasted my time and money.

I bought this product summer of 2014 when my 2004 Toyota Matrix XR (1zzge) engine developed a head gasket problem (burning coolant [exhaust moisture + sweet smell], but no coolant in oil or oil in coolant). I had a few minor overheats due to a cracked radiator. but this engine has a weak head prone to warpage. I had recently had this engine rebuilt and could not afford to do it again. I was getting by for a month by refilling the radiator every 10 to 20 miles, it was a slow head gasket leak. I didn't think this would work but it did. I have put 20k miles on the car and its holding strong, I have even used the Matrix last week to Tow a 2,400 LB BMW with no issues.
