I live in Melbourne, Australia, and wasn't familiar with the Timbuk brand until I went to buy a cover for my Kindle2. When reading up on the company and the design philosophy behind their brand I was very impressed. The Kindle cover proved to be a great buy. Fast forward a couple of years and I'm looking to buy a laptop bag for my son, who started IT at uni this year. I remembered how much I liked this brands approach, there is some good deals on Timbuk products and this bag looked ideal. My son has used it now for a couple of weeks now and here are some impression of it:

I detail all 3 of my cars twice a year, clay bar, wax and do the interior . Wipe new is unforgiving. If not applied properly it will streak, leave marks where it is unattended. One bottle will not be enough to finish the interior of a Honda Civic, let alone do the 2 coats that will be needed. Flat plastic non textured surfaces streak easily. Application instructions say to overlap surfaces with one swipe. That is very hard unless the applicator cloth is saturated thus over applying product. If you work the product into textured surfaces it tends to streak, much like over brushing with paint or varnish. Not even bother try leather, the leather will absorb so much material and a 2nd coat will be needed. I did the running boards of my Honda Pilot and the tailgate lip protector. 1 month and 1 car wash later the areas were spotted and weathered. The black panel below the rear bumper and mudguards retained their finish. As much as the product costs it would be better to buy 4 bottles of armour all or comparable product and apply the product one or twice a year

So far the gazelle is working out pretty good. It was fairly easy to put together (we had a few problems but I think that was operator error) I definatly need to get the tapes so that I can find out what specific moves I can do on there. To really get a work out you have to either lean forward or lean back or I've found a way to kind of squat slightly so that it puts some resistance on there, or you've got to do a running motion which takes a little practice since it's an awkward move but once you get it down it's fine. When you first get on it, it might feel weird or awkward but that's because your body isn't used to working in that way. I say this is a good machine to get, if you're really into working out then this isn't for you, but this is good for people who need to lose weight and don't like the gym and need something that's not so hard that they give up after the first try. Or for people who just need to get up and move but can't go walking outside for whatever reason. If you're willing to mess around with different positions and find out what works for you to keep your heart rate up this will be good for you.
