I've had the Uppa Baby Vista 2009 for 2 years now, and we still use it as our primary stroller. We walk around town a lot, on trails, and on the beach, and we've used this stroller. It's not the smoothest ride, but babies often like a little bumpy ride anyway! I used the bassinet for over 6 months, just because I loved how she can just sit in it (I was very careful!). Sometimes she even slept in her bassinet in our room. We still interchange the direction of the main seat. Just last week, we were walking downtown and it was very windy, so we changed her seat direction while she was still in it (probably not recommended in the manual!). Overall, it is an AWESOME stroller! I fold it up all the time and keep it in my trunk quite a bit. It is not the smallest or lightest stroller by any means, but there are so many features that I love about it, and it's durable! My wheels don't squeak, like another reviewer noted, but I have trouble with the brake. I end up engaging it/disengaging it by hand b/c it gets stuck. That's the only bad thing (and the cup holder isn't too great on it). The fabric has held up with time despite being left outside several nights. We have the Mica, which looks great! I've never had to wash the covers. Sun visor is awesome! Soon, we'll probably get the piggy back so our toddler can ride on when we have our next baby. We LOVE our stroller, and get comments on it all of the time!
I strongly recommend against buying this book in any form. It was a complete waste of my time and energy. Amazing that someone actually took some degree of care in compiling this material - as something they thought worth reading by someone (anyone) else. The compilation includes a range of "Best American" poems, comics, prose, etc. Perhaps the editor is an advocate of the need to diminish all things American. He succeeded. Sherman Alexie's Best American American Poem "Tin House" is an excellent example of the shallow and inane material included in this collection. Teddy Wayne's "Best American Apocryphal Discussions Between our Nation's Founding Fathers" is trivial but also lifeless. After a few other selected gems like "Best American Tattoo Stories" I gave up and took some joy in throwing this book in the trash.
Didn't fee any different, didn't make me use the restroom more frequently it was just a regular tea not even that great tasting either...
We have 2 German Shepherds, 9 and 12 years old. For some reason, the 12 year old has had a terrible flea problem for about a year. I've tried shampoos, sprays and frontline, none of which helped. I bought one Seresto to try without any research or reading any reviews. Contrary to one review I've since read, the directions were very clear and easy to understand. Within 24 hours, the majority of the fleas were gone. The remaining ones were moving slowly and looked affected by the collar. At 36 hours, there were still a few fleas, and I was beginning to doubt the effectiveness of complete clearing. However, by 48 hours, I couldn't find a flea. Of course, we washed the bedding and sprayed the area where they hang out. Vacuuming is also wise. I decided to order a collar for the 9 year old and that's when I read a lot of the reviews. Some with seizures, muscle weakness, etc. My 12 year old has worn the collar continuously for a month now except for about 2 hours when we bathed her a week ago. She has had NO problems what so ever. She has pre-existing muscle weakness in her hind quarters from bone spurs in her spine, but she is still a playful and happy girl. Her coat is thick and beautiful again whereas it was very thin along her back, rump and tail. She seems much more rested and comfortable, peaceful, with no scratching or gnawing. I am a physician , in practice for the last 30 years, and I can tell you, all drugs affect people differently, with varying side effects. NO drug is 100% safe. I would pay a lot more for this product, especially if it really lasts 8 months. Gretchen will be 13 in 3 months and Schatze will be 10. I cannot thank Bayer enough for making the remaining days of our beloved shepherds more comfortable.
