I had been using Family Tree Maker 2006 and was very happy. This one changes the entire interface. I'm willing to learn a new interface if it's a better interface, but in this case, it's not. Too much control is taken away from me and given to Ancestry.com, which seems to assume that all of the shoddy genealogy work posted on their site is trustworthy. If I could go back to 2006, I would. If you try it, I would suggest copying all of your old files first. That way, if you upgrade them and want to go back, you'll still have them in the older format.
First let me say that the smell is HORRID!!! I can't imagine why any guy would want to smell like this. I'm a girl and even I don't want to smell like this. It gives me a headache. Here's the other thing... I don't believe this makes you sweat any more than you would WITHOUT using it. Sweat typically dries the when it hits the air, so with Sweet Sweat, the sweat sits on the oily surface and doesn't dry out as fast, thus giving the ILLUSION of more sweat. I'm sorry Sweet Sweat, but to be honest, you'd most likely get the same results slathering Vaseline or Alboline on, and for half the price.
Out of the drawing programs I've tried--Corel Painter 10, GIMP, Paint.net, and Paint Tool Sai--this one is my favorite. The toolbars took a little while to get used to, not because they are complicated or confusing, but because I was so used to having to browse through a million menu options to find what I wanted. Sketchbook's tools and brush options are easy to locate and, for the most part, actually duplicate the effects of the real media tools they are named after (something I hadn't found in any other program).
Do not pay full price because they can and will sell it for $40 if you stick to your guns. You can find it on Amazon for cheaper though. I finally gave in to the sales man and got it. I told him i know the whole sales ritual so dont even try to sell it for $80. He called me tough and gave me the "i like you" line. I spent $40 and got a soap "thrown in". Anyway, i like it so far even though i dont believe the peeling is from my skin. Still, it makes it smooth, clear and firmer feeling. I use Sweet Almond Oil (GNC) as a moisturizer and it works great together. Im only giving it 3 stars cause its still a new product to me.
