This is a YMMV (your mileage may vary) product. I was skeptical to spend the money to try Alpha Brain, based only on the reviews, most of them stating that it didn't work, or was very weak.
As someone who has a degree in nutrition, I must say that this isn't the most nutritionally sound program. However, I am a user of the product. Did I choose to do Isagenix because of its nutritional quality? No. (Although, the shakes have a lot of vitamins in them and if you eat properly during your regular meals, you can fulfill any missing nutrients). I chose to do Isagenix because I had gained back some weight I had previously lost. This program doesn't require you to stay an Isagenix user, but it does require you to change your lifestyle. It's great to help kick off a weight loss plan, but you can't go back to eating terribly again afterward if you want the weight loss to be maintained. (HELLO, does anyone actually think eating a dessert every night, not exercising, and never eating vegetables is going to keep you on a maintenance level??) It is proven that meal replacement therapy is the best, most effective way to lose weight and keep it off. Why do you think Slimfast is still in business?
Got this for Christmas, and I love it! Can't understand the negative comments. Yes, it does take time to take it apart and wash it (about 30 seconds to break it down and stick it in the dishwasher) and there is a little left in the tube, but you can push it out when you take it apart. My favorite "mash-up" is a couple bananas and a small handful of chocolate chips. Yummy!
It's a nice case that seems to be sturdy and fairly easy to use. I can't seem to use it as a stand for my Fire tablet without propping the whole thing against a heavy object. I may try to laminate a piece of plastic or metal to the three segments of the cover to allow it to be a better back brace.
My niece (who is four) enjoyed these stories a lot. They are just the right length to hold her attention, and she especially enjoyed the story about Princess Ella's teeth!
